Combining superior performance and proven reliability, the Masoneilan PXR single seated globe control valve suits most common industrial process applications. Advanced investment casting and optimized body & plug profiles grant the PXR superior flow regulation and higher Cv for each nominal size.
Extremely flexible, the PXR comes with interchangeable trims. The standard stem and port guided unbalanced trim firmly holds the plug for smooth, stable modulation. Hardened full, reduced and low-flow trims are available to cover diverse flow ranges.
Its threaded seat ring and unbalanced plug design deliver standard tight shutoff up to ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class IV or V without balance seals or pilot plugs. Compatible with multiple positioner choices, the PXR lets users customize digital functionality according to cost and process demands.
