The Consolidated 3500 Series EBV is a motor-driven boiler safety valve with lower set pressure than spring safety valves. It shortens subcritical unit startup/shutdown time and improves plant efficiency via stable sealing. Built to rigorous ASME standards, it adopts Colmonoy 88 coating, high-temperature Inconel 718 stems and a programmable digital controller, with an optional dual-valve isolation assembly. It serves supercritical/once-through boilers under ASME Section I certification, while subcritical venting use does not require such certification.
